Beloved–

The wicked draw their swords and string their bows to kill the poor and the oppressed, to slaughter those who do right.  But their swords will stab their own hearts, and their bows will be broken. It is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich.  For the strength of the wicked will be shattered,  but the Lord takes care of the godly.  Day by day the Lord takes care of the innocent,
and they will receive an inheritance that lasts forever.  They will not be disgraced in hard times;
even in famine they will have more than enough.  But the wicked will die. The Lord’s enemies are like flowers in a field—they will disappear like smoke.  The wicked borrow and never repay, but the godly are generous givers.  Those the Lord blesses will possess the land those he curses will die.  The wicked draw their swords  and string their bows to kill the poor and the oppressed, to slaughter those who do right.  But  their swords will stab their own hearts, and their bows will be broken.  

It is better to be godly and have little than to be evil and rich. . . there have been times when I could not sleep. The numbers from my unbalanced budget kept going around in my head.  I learned that the Lord knows exactly when and where is the best time and place to demonstrate his power over my life and yours. What a wonderful Triune GOD we have!

Beloved– 

How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart?  Cleanse me from these hidden faults.   Keep your servant from deliberate sins!  Don’t let them control me.  Then I will be free of guilt  and innocent of great sin.  May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you,  O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

As a child of God I must behave and think like Jesus. He dedicated his entire 3 year ministry to spreading the GOOD NEWS!  Jesus says he is the way, the truth, and the life; anyone who believes in him will receive eternal life.  I pray for you not to worry about everyday life but to look for opportunities to spread the good news that Jesus loves us just as we are and wants to be our savior.

When I cried out to God I was at the end of my rope. Then I realized that at the same time I received a job offer I hadn’t thought of, a place to live and a church that taught the Bible verse by verse.  I began to learn that I had accepted Jesus Christ by faith, what I was saved from and that I was called a Child of God!  I pray that you too, want to be called a child of God.  We are blessed by a merciful God, who promises life eternal in heaven with him.

Faith enough to believe?  Every human being is born with the ability to exercise faith even though a sinner.  When you sit in a chair you demonstrate faith.  Fortunately, for mankind, the gracious, merciful creator of heaven and earth has paved a path to salvation.  Everyone gets to choose eternal life through faith in the truth that Jesus Christ is the son of God.  I pray for you to recognize the truth of salvation that faith in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit offers eternal salvation.

As a new believer I learned that I had accepted Jesus Christ as my savior by faith.  My salvation was a free gift from God.  I wasn’t worthy of a relationship with God having been born a sinner.  Jesus Christ endured the cross that I might have the joy of a relationship with his Father.   I pray for you to have a desire to have a relationship with God the Father, Jesus Christ his Son, the Holy Spirit!

As a new child of God I was anxious to find other people with the same belief and how  to experience the same attitude that they had.  That was the second miracle, the first was, saving me from joblessness and homelessness.  A perfect stranger offered me a ride and to attend church with her.  She transported me to church three times a week for eighteen months.  I learned a great deal about my  position as a child of God studying the Bible.  I pray that you desire to be a Child of God by studying the Bible written by Almighty God, the Father, the Son Christ Jesus the Messiah, by the Holy Spirit, who lives in our hearts.

As a new believer in the Good News I learned that God, my Heavenly Father, wanted me to tell everybody I met about the Good News, that Jesus Christ concurred death.   Even human parents have certain expectations regarding their new  child’s behavior.  They must not be rude, they must use “yes please and no thank you” , because as their child,  they were representing their parents’ identity.  I pray for you to desire to choose your identity to be in Christ Jesus; to praise our Triune God, Father,Son and Holy Spirit.

As an older Christian I was reminded that by faith I believed that Jesus Christ IS the Son of God!  The TRUTH  that  the birth, death, and resurrection of Christ Jesus allows me to say I serve a risen Savior.  I pray for you to have a desire to confess to you too, have a risen savior. Jesus Christ King of Kings!

As an older Christian I learned I had a lot to learn.  I had lost my job.  I didn’t have the “First and Last months rent money” to have a place to live.  I was alone.  I was poor in spirit. I forgot how God had put the joy of the Lord in my heart so many times before.  Finally, when I was at the end of myself I cried to the Lord, he heard my confession, he forgave my sin of pride and  that I COULD DO NOTHING ! I was only a branch,  I pray for you to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit telling us we are only branches.  Praise our Triune God and Father.
